Carnation Festival Triathlon/Duathlon

Swim 1000 meters yards, Bike 26 miles, Run 6.2 miles

Run 1.9 miles, Bike 25 miles, Run 6.2 miles

Location: West Branch State Park

Course Info: Swim takes place in West Branch Reservoir,followed by bike ride over rolling to flat terrain on open roads to Alliance High School for the bike to run transition,run finishes at AHS, with transportation back to west branch provided

Directions:

FROM ALLIANCE: Take 225 (Union Av. North - When 225 turns right KEEP GOING STRAIGHT - this is now CH125 or Alliance Road. This takes you straight to the Park entrance. Approx. 16 miles -1/2 hour from Alliance High School.

FROM AKRON: I76 East toRt. 14 • Exit South. In Edinburg, (just South of I76)take left at light on Tallmadge Rd. Then take first LEFT on Rock Spring. Cross over 176 and take a RIGHT on Hughes - then follow the signs to West Branch State Park BEACH area.

FROM CLEVELAND AREA: 1480 to Rt. 14 South. Then follow directions above.

FROM SOUTH: 177 to 176 East at Akron.
